Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum: "Nevada Stories"
MyNews4.com & KRNV) Reno, Nev.-The Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum has just opened and News 4 took a tour to explore one of the seven exhibits, "Nevada Stories".
Thousands of Nevadans passed through the museum this weekend for its grand opening. ‘The Discovery’ will inspire curiosity, creativity and the joy of lifelong learning for all children and families of northern Nevada. Upon opening, the museum will provide opportunities to discover science, art and local history through open-ended, interactive and fun exhibits and hands-on educational programs. Explore a cave, build a house, race across Nevada, and climb into the clouds — these are just some of the many adventures offered at The Discovery.
'The Discovery' hours are: Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. & Sunday, Noon-5:00 p.m. General admission is $8 and children under one-year-old get in for free. Members are always free and memberships start at $85. Click here more information on how you can become a member.
