CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Another 8,000 Nevadans have selected health insurance policies through the state's online insurance market in the past month

A spokesman for the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange says that 20,399 plans have been selected as of Saturday. Of those, 13,159 have actually enrolled by paying for their policies.

But the figures are well below a target of 118,000 enrollments by the end of March. That's the deadline for people to sign up and avoid a tax penalty under the federal health care reform law.

And so begins the final death-spiral into Socialism. Way to go,comrades. I really thought Nevadans would be smarter than that, especially after hearing, all my life, how Nevadans love freedom and favor personal responsibility over having the Government take care of everything in their lives. What a bunch of sheep.

I can't believe anyone is supporting this boondoggle. However where are the real numbers? How many of these are young healthy people and how many are sick people?

The website is still so messed up I don't believe it's possible that any of these numbers are accurate.
