LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police say two occupants of a pickup truck were killed and two others suffered minor injuries when the vehicle overturned several times in Sylmar.
Sgt. Randy Modrell tells City News Service that initial reports suggest excessive speed appears to have been the cause of the rollover Tuesday evening.
Investigators interviewed witnesses and looked at physical evidence at the scene.
Modrell says the 21-year-old man driving the pickup and a 19-year-old male passenger were killed. The injured were two males, aged 16 and 21.
