LOS ANGELES (AP) — Two dozen names have been added to a list of clergy members alleged to have molested children in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

BishopAccountability.org, a nonprofit group that tracks public release of abuse documents, says the names were in a report posted on the website of the archdiocese last month without fanfare — along with 12,000 pages of internal records that were made public.

The group's president, Terry McKiernan, tells the Los Angeles Times that he only discovered the document during a recent Google search.

An attorney for the archdiocese, J. Michael Hennigan, tells the Times that the church wasn't trying to bury the list. He says it was briefly posted online in 2008 and that the names were reported to law enforcement years ago.
