GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say nine people have been transported to a Flagstaff hospital after a multi-vehicle crash at Grand Canyon National Park.

National Park Service officials say the crash occurred about 2 p.m. Thursday and involved a 20-passenger tour bus, a minivan and a passenger car.

Park officials say the cause of the crash was unclear and under investigation.

They say eight people were taken to Flagstaff Medical Center by ground ambulance while one person was flown to the hospital.

The names and conditions of the injured weren't immediately released.
