RENO, Nev. (AP) — Dunkin' Donuts has signed a deal with a new franchising group in Nevada that plans to bring nine of the restaurants to Reno over the next seven years.
Dunkin Donuts' says the new firm, HT2 Franchising, is led by Reno native Nicole Hansen, who previously owned six privately branded coffee shops in Washington state. The company said in a statement Tuesday she plans to open the first store in 2015, with eight more to follow by 2020.
Dunkin' Donuts currently has about a dozen restaurants in the Las Vegas area but none in northern Nevada.
Hansen says she has strong ties with several businesses in the local community. She says she's looking forward to bringing the famous brand to a new market.
