LOS ANGELES (AP) — A $5,000 reward is being offered for inform leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever set fire to a Roman Catholic parish church in San Diego County.
Special Agent in Charge Steven J. Bogdalek of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced the reward offer Wednesday.
Fire broke out at Santa Sophia Church in Spring Valley on Tuesday and investigators determined it to be arson.
No one was injured but damage is estimated at $50,000.
