FONTANA, Calif. (AP) — Authorities in San Bernardino County say a driver ran a red light and caused a collision that killed an adult and a child.
Fontana police Lt. William Megenney tells the Los Angeles Times a speeding vehicle "blew the red light" at Foothill Boulevard and Citrus Avenue at about 8:30 Monday night and caused a three-car wreck that also injured four people.
Pictures from the scene near Interstate 10 some 50 miles east of Los Angeles show a red SUV surrounded by debris.
Megenney did not yet have further details.
