SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police have arrested a woman suspected of being the "Bombshell Bandit" who robbed banks in three states.
The 24-year-old California woman was arrested last week in Nevada following a high-speed chase that started in Utah. FBI agents suspect Sandeep Kaur earned the "Bombshell Bandit" nickname for threatening to blow herself up during heists.
Some witnesses also said she wore glamorous disguise of a wig and large sunglasses. She is suspected of robbing two banks in California and another in Arizona.
Kaur was arrested after a robbery in St. George started a chase that reached speeds of 130 mph and ended after police spiked her tires twice.
Federal prosecutors are seeking to extradite her from Nevada to Utah to face charges. It was not immediately clear if she had an attorney.
