LAS VEGAS (AP, MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- An arrest warrant has been issued for rancher Cliven Bundy's son after he failed to appear in court, according to a recent tweet sent out by Jon Ralston of Ralston Reports.

Bundy's son -- Cliven, Jr. -- was due to appear in drug court on July 1, 2014 on condition of probation regarding charges of burglary and illegal firearm possession.

The 34-year-old son of a Nevada rancher who hosted armed protesters against federal agents in a cattle roundup dispute in April is facing arrest in a separate case stemming from his felony conviction on 2012 burglary and weapon charges.

Cliven Lance Bundy said Monday he knows he's named in a contempt-of-court warrant issued July 8 for failing to appear before a Clark County District Court judge overseeing a drug diversion program in Las Vegas.

Lance Bundy tells The Associated Press he underwent surgery that same day in Henderson for a nerve pain condition.

He's been recuperating since then at his parents' home in Bunkerville, about 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas.

Lance Bundy says he's trying to get his program counselor to help him respond to the warrant.

Life in America has gotten so complex it extends from Chicago to the Detroit projects to remote Nevada ranch lands. Everyone of us could face a possible charge from the County, State or Government at one anytime. Power lines, road easement's, building Departments, Criminal Courts, the list is endless. I am and will not make excuses for what has happened in So. Nevada. I will just state that if anything like this happens to YOU or ME, WE are all alone! Public sediment has gotten so hypocritical no one can have grievances against the Government without a Witch Hunt! UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL...............GOD BLESS!

Seriously, ridiculous the support for this even more ridiulous family. They Bundy's got their 15 minutes by endangering the lives of many people with their refusal to do what every other rancher in the area has done, which is to pay their grazing fees. No sympathy for a single member of this family.

It's called leverage.I have no doubt that they contacted Cliven sr. and said here's what we want you to do,because it would be a real shame if something bad happened to your kid.

Lance Bundy was not at the ranch during the protest. Not even one time. This reporter is just looking for a story. Wow they really are trying their best to make Cliven Bundy look bad. It is to bad the media has lost any integrity to report with truth. I suppose that it why people are turning away from the main stream media and relying more on personal media for the truth of most matters.

Love how the media always puts it's spirit. In there. Cliven was jot "hosting" armed protesters. In fact as soon as militia stated they were going to Bunker ville, the family issued a statement on it's Facebook page that they were not asking armed militia to come and had no part in anything violent. I'm not speaking for the Bundy family and neither should this reporter.

I guess he should have put off having surgery so he could appear in Court. I'm sure the Surgical team would have waited for him.
