LIHUE, Hawaii (AP) — Officials have suspended the search for the body of a second California man who drowned off Kauai on Friday.

Brian Baker and Adam Griffiths of the San Francisco area were exploring the rocky coast of Hawaii's Kauai island on Friday with several friends when a rogue wave knocked Baker into the water. Griffiths jumped in to save his friend.

Griffith's body was found Saturday.

On Monday, the Kauai Fire Department conducted aerial searches for Baker's body. Fire personnel also were positioned along the coastline, but the search was unsuccessful.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the 47-year-old Baker lived in Vallejo, was a dedicated triathlete and worked as a music therapist. The 46-year-old Griffith lived in San Francisco and was a manager for a mobile-app company. Griffith's fiance witnessed the tragedy.
