LAS VEGAS (AP) — Clark County crews responding to a fire say they stumbled on a marijuana grow house in the process.

Firefighters arrived about 9 p.m. Tuesday to a house on Isabel Cove Court, near the intersection of Robindale and Jone Avenue.

Crews found a fire in an upstairs bedroom, but also stumbled upon wire and lights running through the entire second floor, apparently to support the marijuana operation.

Officials say nobody was home at the time, and the fire was under control in less than 15 minutes.

Investigators haven't released a cause for the fire, but estimate damage at $100,000.
