LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say major indoor marijuana operations at three houses raided last week could be related because they're located close to each other.

Officers seized 1,500 marijuana plants worth an estimated $4.5 million from a single house Wednesday, a haul that a southern Nevada task force called the biggest indoor pot grow it has ever busted.

But narcotics Lt. Laz Chavez told the Las Vegas Sun (http://bit.ly/Xub59Y ) that the record didn't stand long because a raid Friday at a nearby house netted about 2,000 marijuana plants.

Chavez says its estimated street value was not immediately known, and a final count of the plants will be completed this week.

A similar drug raid was conducted Thursday in the same area.

Two people were arrested in Wednesday's raid.
