LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities in Las Vegas have identified a 35-year-old man dead in a double stabbing that apparently stemmed from a drug deal gone wrong.

Clark County coroner's officials say Lawrence Velasquez died of multiple stab wounds after the incident Sunday afternoon.

Police say they responded to an apartment complex on Wynn Road at about 3 p.m. and found Velasquez's body. They also found another man suffering from a single stab wound.

Officials say the injured man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police arrested 32-year-old Nerio Nava and booked him on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
