LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a 58-year-old woman found dead at the scene of a Clark County apartment fire.

Clark County coroner's officials say Sharon Decosta was found dead at the Monaco Park Apartments on Desert Inn Road early Monday. A cause of death has not yet been released.

Clark County firefighters say they responded about 2:30 a.m. to a fire in the living room of a ground floor apartment.

They say they were able to get it under control in less than 10 minutes and prevent it from spreading to other units, but found the woman dead.

No other injuries were reported in the fire. Crews estimated the damage to be $10,000.
