SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The California Highway Patrol says a crane fell during work on the new San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge project, but there were no immediate reports of injuries.
Television footage showed crews near the fallen crane, which apparently came down Thursday afternoon. No additional information was immediately available.
Calls to the state department of transportation were not immediately returned.
