SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Firefighters are battling a massive early morning 5-alarm blaze at an 80,000 commercial warehouse in San Jose.

At least 70 firefighters are on the scene as the fire was reported shortly after 5:30 a.m. Thursday at a warehouse that belongs to Vintage Roof and Tile.

Fire officials said the roof has partially collapsed as several neighboring businesses have been evacuated while crews are attempting to prevent the blaze from spreading.

The fire is also affecting the morning commute as the California Highway Patrol has closed off the westbound ramps on Highway 101 near Julian Street.

And a nearby preparatory school has cancelled classes for the day because of the fire in the mostly industrial area.

No injuries have been reported.
