SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) — Officials say an 86-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of killing his wife after he was found with her body in their car at a Central Coast beach.
The Tribune of San Luis Obispo reports Tuesday that retired firefighter George Leigh Taylor was arrested at Montana de Oro State Park.
Park rangers say they found Taylor at 11:26 p.m. Monday, and determined his passenger, 81-year-old Gewynn Marian Taylor, was dead.
After a brief hospitalization for non-life-threatening injuries, Taylor was arrested on suspicion of homicide.
