LAS VEGAS (AP) — Kevin Foster scored 25 points, including six 3-pointers, to shock UNLV 61-52 and hand the Rebels their first loss in 14 games at the Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday.

Foster also had 10 rebounds and Kevin Olekaibe added 13 points as the Bulldogs (11-18, 5-11 Mountain West) earned the seventh seed in next week's Mountain West Conference tournament here. It was also Fresno State's first win on the road against the Rebels in 16 tries.

Mike Moser and Anthony Marshall each led UNLV (23-8, 10-6) with 11 points. UNLV had no field goals in the last 9:51 and lost for just the second time in their last 36 home contests.

The Rebels will be either the second or third seed in the Mountain West tournament, depending on the outcome of the Nevada-Colorado State game later.
