RENO, Nev. (AP, KRNV & MyNews4.com) — A pair of former U.S. Open champs have agreed to play in Reno next week at the PGA Tour's Barracuda Championship.

Officials for the tournament formerly called the Reno-Tahoe Open announced on Friday that Retief Goosen and Geoff Ogilvy have joined the field.  The announcement was first made on News 4 at Noon.

It will be Goosen's first appearance at Montreux Golf & Country Club. Ogilvy hasn't played at Reno in more than 10 years.

Other winners of major tournaments who have committed to Reno include John Daly and Padraig Harrington.

The 16-year-old tournament runs Thursday through Sunday.
