CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Gov. Brian Sandoval has appointed a Nevada banking executive to the UNLV Campus Improvement Authority.
Dallas Haun is chairman and CEO of Nevada State Bank. His appointment to the newly created board was announced Tuesday and effective immediately.
Haun also serves on the board of trustees for the UNLV Foundation and the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.
The 11-member campus improvement board was created by 2013 Legislature to assess the need for and feasibility of a large events center on the UNLV campus. Made up of both private and public sector representatives, it will also evaluate design and financing options of any proposal.
