LAS VEGAS (AP) — A key prosecution witness is due to testify in the trial of a former Cirque du Soleil performer charged with killing, dismembering and trying to dispose of the body of a dancer in the Luxor hotel-casino's "Fantasy" revue.

Trial continues Tuesday for Jason Omar Griffith in the December 2010 slaying of 31-year-old Deborah Flores Narvaez.

Griffith has pleaded not guilty. He could face life in prison.

Flores and Griffith dated for several months.

The defendant's former roommate, Louis Colombo, told police he saw Griffith with his hands on Flores' neck, and later helped Griffith move tubs of concrete with Flores' remains to a vacant home.

Griffith was arrested in January 2011 after police found Flores' remains in two concrete-filled containers.

Colombo isn't charged with a crime.
