LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles police detective has pleaded no contest to assaulting three women at massage parlors while on duty.

The Los Angeles County district attorney's office says 49-year-old Oris Pace was a supervisor in a division that monitored business permits, including those for massage parlors in the San Fernando Valley.

Prosecutors said that while on duty in January, he made three women in parlors undress or he removed their clothes and groped them.

He'll be sentenced to 180 days in jail and must resign from the department.
