ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A Las Vegas man has been sentenced for sex trafficking.

Federal prosecutors say that 32-year-old Brandon Michael Gadson traveled to Anchorage in July of 2010 with three women and another man for the purpose of trafficking sex on the Internet.

Prosecutors say Gadson paid for hotel rooms for two of the women, and his credit card was used to advertise that the women were available for sex services. One of the women was just 19 years old.

Undercover police conducted a sting operation and arrested Gadson, as well as the women and another man. Authorities say Gadson was a long-time sex trafficker and had the word "pimp" tattooed on the side of his neck.

Under a plea agreement, Gadson was sentenced to a year and a half in prison.
