LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police in Las Vegas are identifying a 38-year-old man who faces felony charges in a stabbing that left another man with a leg wound in a fight at a Las Vegas Strip resort.

Officer Laura Meltzer said Thursday that Aaron Vogel was detained by Planet Hollywood security officers and arrested by Las Vegas police after the incident just before 8 p.m. Monday.

Court records weren't immediately availiable.

Meltzer says the fight was at the Planet Hollywood property — not at the Miracle Mile Shops as police previously reported.

Vogel is accused of stabbing the victim in the lower leg when the man broke up a fight involving several people.

The wounded man was treated at University Medical Center for an injury that police say was not believed to be life-threatening.
