Man fatally stabbed in Sparks; 2 minors sought

SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — Police are looking for two minors after a man was fatally stabbed in Sparks.

Authorities say the confrontation happened a little before 10 p.m. Monday on the 400 block of 11th Street.

Police say a man who was seriously injured from a stab wound was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno and later pronounced dead.

Witnesses told officers that the victim was confronted by two juveniles who fought with him before fleeing the area.

One of the minors is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 15 and 17 who stands 5 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds. The second person is described as a Hispanic male who stands between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 230 to 250 pounds.
