SYLMAR, Calif. (AP) -- Authorities say a man has been shot to death in his car on a Los Angeles freeway in what investigators say may have been a road rage attack.
City News Service reports the victim's Mitsubishi Eclipse was discovered on an offramp of the westbound 210 Freeway in Sylmar shortly before 1 a.m. Friday.
A bullet hole was visible in the driver's side rear window. The victim was described only as a man in his 30s who lived nearby. Police say he may have been traveling to or from work.
All lanes are reopened after being shut down for about two hours. No suspects have been identified.
Lt. Paul Vernon says police received reports of shots fired in the area about two hours earlier. They are trying to determine if the incidents are related.
