PAHRUMP, Nev. (AP) — Authorities have identified a 70-year-old driver killed in a head-on crash with a semi-truck outside Pahrump.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says Las Vegas resident Kent A. Ralston was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident about 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Troopers say Ralston's teal 2002 Ford Thunderbird was traveling south on State Route 160 when it crossed the double yellow center line and hit the northbound tractor truck.
Authorities say the 42-year-old truck driver from Tacoma, Wash., was treated and released from a Las Vegas hospital.
