RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- There is new information on the December 17 shooting at Urology of Nevada. According to a letter sent by the center:
"Urology Nevada would like to acknowledge and thank our patients, friends, colleagues, and community for the overwhelming support, which we have received since the shocking tragedy at our office. This tragedy took the life of one of our physicians, and seriously injured both another physician and the mother of one of our patients.
We have reviewed the care that was provided to Alan Frazier, the man who killed Dr. Gholdoian and seriously injured two others. We find no basis to support any of the allegations made by this individual regarding his care or treatment. Additionally, research reported by national experts on vasectomy refutes his claims. We can neither understand, nor explain his senseless and horrible actions.
Urology Nevada continues to cooperate with the authorities as they investigate this matter. We are forever grateful for the swift, professional, and courageous actions of all first-responders, who undoubtedly prevented further tragedy that day. At this time, our physicians and staff continue to provide the best possible urologic care to our patients and the communities we serve.
Again, we thank all of you who have stood beside us during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the family of the friend and colleague we lost. We offer our best wishes for a speedy and full recovery to those who were injured."
