INDUSTRY, Calif. (AP) — Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a newborn baby found in a waste collection firm's Southern California recycling yard.
City News Service says the body was found Monday afternoon on a conveyer belt at Athens Services in Industry.
A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department news release says detectives are investigating the death and no details are being released.
Athens Services is a waste collection and recycling company that has trash and recyclable collection contracts with several communities.
