RENO, Nev. (AP) — Pestmaster Services is moving its headquarters to Reno.

The company that specializes in controlling all kinds of pests, from ants and roaches to bed bugs, rodents, bees, bats and birds, announced Tuesday that it has moved its headquarters to Reno from Bishop, Calif.

Pestmaster has purchased a 12,200-square-foot office and warehouse on South Virginia Street.

Company officials say it has hired 13 employees in Reno so far, and plans to expand to 25 employees within the next five years. They say the job creation and capital investment will generate about $10 million in economic impact to the region during that time.

Pestmaster is located in 14 states and has both company-owned and franchised operations.
