HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — A 54-year-old man and his 47-year-old ex-wife are dead after an apparent murder-suicide at a Henderson home.

Police say the couple's 13-year-old son was in the next room during the killing and called police about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers who arrived found the woman shot dead inside the house on Andada Drive, near Horizon Ridge Parkway and Arroyo Grande Boulevard. The man was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound inside his car in front of the house.

The boy was not injured.

Police say the man came to his ex-wife's house Tuesday and the two started arguing before the shootings took place.

The boy who reported the incident and the couple's other son, who's 11 years old, are being taken care of by relatives.

Names haven't yet been released.
