LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities are warning commuters to slow down as rainstorms are leading to slick roads and flooding on southern Nevada streets.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch in western Clark County and southern Nye County until 9 p.m. Monday. The watch is also in effect for the Spring Mountains, Red Rock Canyon and Lincoln County.

Clark County officials say the weekend rain has damaged some roads in the Mt. Charleston area, causing erosion on Rainbow Canyon Boulevard, a landslide on Kyle Canyon Road and washing out Harris Springs Road.
