LOS ANGELES (AP) — Jurors ended their deliberations without reaching a verdict in a dispute between actor Ryan O'Neal and The University of Texas at Austin over a portrait of the late actress Farrah Fawcett done by Andy Warhol.

Jury deliberations began Monday after both sides gave their closing arguments.

A lawyer for the school said jurors should honor Fawcett's wishes and force O'Neal to hand over the portrait.

The Oscar-nominated actor's attorney, however, urged jurors to allow O'Neal to keep the portrait, calling the university's pursuit of the artwork a case of greed that contradicted what Fawcett told friends about its ownership.

Fawcett's image was displayed throughout closing arguments by university attorney David Beck and O'Neal's attorney Marty Singer.
