MURRIETA, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a high school student in Riverside County is being treated for tuberculosis and they're trying to find others who may have been exposed to the disease.
The Riverside Press-Enterprise (http://bit.ly/HihwtY ) says a student at Vista Murrieta High School has active TB but is expected to make a full recovery.
Authorities say the student has been out of school since last week and won't return until a medical clearance is issued.
Meanwhile, county health officials are trying to identify staff and students who may have been exposed so they can be tested for the disease.
