LAS VEGAS (AP) — The top cop in Las Vegas is releasing more details about a shooting rampage by a married couple who killed two patrol officers and a man who tried to pull his own legal concealed weapon before he was killed in a Wal-Mart store.

Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie was scheduled to talk Monday about the investigation of the June 8 shooting that left officers Igor Soldo and Alyn Beck dead in a pizza shop, and Wal-Mart shopper Joseph Wilcox dead.

Wilcox was awarded a posthumous medal for valor from the Las Vegas City Council, and was mourned during a memorial on Sunday as a hero who tried to stop Jerad Miller and Amanda Miller from injuring others.

The Millers died cornered in the store following a shootout with police.
