LOS ANGELES (AP) — The National Weather Service says no measureable rain fell at any major recording station in southwestern California last month.

The service said Tuesday in its monthly summary that June rainfall in the region typically averages a few hundredths of an inch to around a 10th of an inch of rain in most locations.

Meteorologists also described June as a very benign month across the area, with no prolonged stretches of high heat.
