ELKO, Nev. (AP) — A Utah woman sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to burglary, kidnapping and robbery is testifying against her alleged accomplice in a two-state crime spree that included the shooting of a woman during a botched carjacking in Nevada.

Angela Hill of Sanpete County says she participated because Logan McFarland threatened to kill her.

The two were arrested near Interstate 80 about 35 miles west of the Utah line after they allegedly stole a car in West Wendover and shot and wounded a woman on New Year's Eve 2012.

The Elko Daily Free Press reports the trial continues Thursday in district court in Elko.
