LAS VEGAS (AP) — A man who accompanied a Saudi Arabian air force sergeant to Las Vegas for the New Year's holiday is due to tell a jury on Thursday what he witnessed in a hotel room where a 13-year-old boy says he was raped.
A prosecutor has told the Clark County District Court jury the man can describe ushering the boy out of the room due to his age before the boy returned with of 24-year-old Mazen Alotaibi (MAH'-zen ah-loh-TAH'-bee).
Alotaibi is standing trial on kidnapping, sexual assault and lewdness charges that could put him in prison for life.
The boy's from California.
He testified Monday that after he approached Alotaibi seeking marijuana, Alotaibi cornered him in the hotel room bathroom, offered him money and forced him into sex.
