WEST WENDOVER, Nev. (AP) — A woman in West Wendover has been charged with child abuse and domestic battery after police say she allegedly gave her daughter a nosebleed and struck another family member.

West Wendover police say they arrested 36-year-old Rhonda Breshears after responding to a report of a possible child abuse incident at a residence Thursday night.

Police say Breshears had allegedly struck her daughter during an argument and made her nose bleed. She then started arguing with her father, and when another family member tried to intervene, police say she hit that person too.

The Elko Daily Free Press reports that neither victim was seriously injured.

Breshears was booked into the Elko County jail, where her bail was set at $8,000.
