LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police are questioning a woman about a stabbing at a second-floor apartment several miles west of downtown Las Vegas.
Police Lt. Mark Reddon tells the Las Vegas Sun that a wounded woman was taken in critical condition to University Medical Center after officers arrived about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the apartment near the Meadows Mall.
According to reports, the woman was stabbed during an argument with her son's girlfriend.
Police said the girlfriend wasn't immediately arrested.
No names were immediately made public.
