RENO, Nev. (AP) — A wrong-way driver has been killed in a crash on Interstate 80 about 20 miles east of Reno.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says a woman somehow ended up driving westbound in the eastbound lanes when the accident occurred Saturday night near Painted Rock.
The victim's name wasn't released.
Troopers had no other immediate details, but say the 9 p.m. accident is under investigation.
The accident backed up eastbound traffic on the interstate.
