SAN DIEGO (AP) — Fire officials say two people were found dead inside a burning home in a rural community in northern San Diego County.

The Los Angeles Times reports firefighters from the North County Fire Protection District made the discovery early Friday at the home in the Rainbow area.

Investigators from the sheriff's arson-bomb squad are investigating the cause of the blaze.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

No information about the two people was immediately released.
