CARSON CITY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A small earthquake was felt by residents of Carson City, Dayton, Washoe Valley, Moundhouse and Topaz Lake.
According to Graham Kent from the UNR Seismological Lab, initial reports said it was a 3.3-magnitude earthquake that hit at 5:16 p.m. on Monday. After running additional tests, that number has been reduced to a 3.2 magnitude.
The United States Geological Survey places the epicenter just north of the Carson City Airport.
Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said there have been no reports of any damage in Carson City.
