LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say a 3-year-old child died after being injured in a head-on car crash in southeast Las Vegas.
Las Vegas police Officer Marcus Martin says a male driver of the car with the child was also hurt in the accident just after noon Monday.
Martin says the two were in a Nissan sedan that collided with a Lexus SUV near Eastern Avenue and Pebble Road.
The child was pronounced dead at a hospital. Martin says the condition of the driver wasn't immediately known.
Martin says he doesn't know if anyone in the Lexus was injured.
