Air Races 3D narrated by Paul Walker to launch this Sept. at Cinemark Century Theaters

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & -- 3D Entertainment Distribution's latest film gets an exclusive two-week engagement in conjunction with the Reno National Championship Air Races. The film will be narrated by Paul Walker (The Fast and the Furious, Takers) and will air in Reno exclusively at Cinemark Century Theaters from Sept. 7-28.

The two-week theatrical engagement will coincide with the 2012 National Championship Air Races at Reno-Stead Airport, which will see the intrepid young star of the 3D film, pilot Steven Hinton, in competition for the fourth consecutive time.

Air Racers 3D will play twice daily in 3D in the evening at Cinemark Century Theatres' four locations in Reno-Sparks: Century Riverside 12, Century Park Lane 16, Century Sparks and Century Summit Sierra. For online tickets, please go to

Air Racers 3D is currently playing at select IMAX theatres and Digital 3D cinemas across the US, including in Washington, DC at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, National Naval Aviation Museum (Pensacola, FL), USS Lexington Museum on the Bay (Corpus Christi, TX), US Space and Rocket Center (Huntsville, AL) and the National Museum of the US Air Force (Dayton, OH), among other locations. Internationally, the film recently made its debuts in Denmark at Copenhagen's Tycho Brahe Planetariet, at Kaohsiung's National Museum of Science and Technology in Taiwan and in China's Hangzhou Low Carbon Museum of Science and Technology. Air Racers 3D, which was three years in the making with a USD 5 million budget, is produced by 3D Entertainment USA and Pretend Entertainment in association with Stereoscope, and distributed worldwide by 3D Entertainment Distribution. Directed by Christian Fry and Jean-Jacques Mantello (Sharks 3D, Ocean Wonderland 3D), principal photography in 4K & 3D took place during the 2009 and 2010 Reno National Championship Air Races and was completed at Reno Stead Field Airport in June 2011.
