WINDSOR, Calif. (AP) — Authorities in Northern California have arrested one man and are looking for three juvenile suspects in connection with a shooting that killed a 15-year-old boy and wounded three other people.
Sonoma County Sheriff's officials say 21-year-old Sergio Quiroz was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of being an accessory to murder in the June 22 shooting outside a home in Windsor, which is about 10 miles north of Santa Rosa. The three juvenile suspects, all from Santa Rosa, remain at large.
Sheriff's officials have released few details about the case, but said Thursday that the shooting was gang related. Fifteen-year-old Nathan Torres was struck in the chest and pronounced dead at a hospital. The three other victims were hit in the arm or legs.
The victims were attending a party at the home.
