Looks like another scam where their deductible was increased and no one told them... Not sure who scams the most-some insurance companies or some banks..

It's not only their insurance. ALL other insurance companies in Reno have made their co-pays higher. My husband is constantly asking his insurance company if he still has insurance. They reply with that they only find the best medical DEAL for the insured even if it costs the insured a horrendous amount. On another note. People who do not have insurance PAY LESS than if they did have insurance. Insurance is billed $1300 on a procedure. Non-insured person pays only $1000 for the same procedure. Point in case a sleep study for sleep apnea. The insurance company is being scammed. My husband has called about many other procedures before and many times the insured have to pay more. So what's up with the scam?

Higher co-pays will be reality from now on. Not all bad as this will mean more people will consider whether or not they need hospitalization. PROBLEM: Medicaid does not REQUIRE patients to participate in their HEALTH nor their health care.
