I checked with Scott Magruder at the Department of Transportation about this.  He says he wasn't aware about that stretch being a trouble spot but he says they will look into it.   They're very good about doing that when a viewer brings up a question.

In case you're wondering, the next priority for NDOT when it comes to road repairs is southbound I-580, what used to be 395, between the Spaghetti Bowl and Moana Lane. Magruder says the concrete is about 30 years old and cracking badly, which you know if you've driven that stretch.
The good news is they're working on identifying $60 million dollars in funding for this project and they'll be tackling that sometime in the next two years. It will be a total reconstruction of that stretch of freeway, so a lot of work, but Magruder says it can't wait much longer.
