As much as I'd like to know when the post office will be re-opening; I'd really like to know how the USPS can continue to charge those residents who HAVE to have a PO Box as there are no home deliveries in Verdi. My sister and I both pay to have a larger box than the standard, extremely small box which is free. Since last year, we have had to continue to pay the fee $75-110 for our larger boxes, although we have only been given access to the standard free box at the Peavine Station. Not only has this situation been an inconvenience to all Verdi residents, but we have endured horrible customer service from the postal workers at the Peavine Station! If anyone is wondering why the USPS is losing customers, this is a perfect example.
